Omni-Threat Structures Participates in 2019 NATO Innovation Challenge

June 24, 2019

Lakeland, FL --  June 24, 2019  --  Omni-Threat Structures (OTS) was named one of seven finalists from around the world in the 2019 NATO Innovation Challenge. The purpose of the event was to present solutions to prevent, mitigate or recover from electromagnetic pulse (EMP) attacks.

The challenge highlighted the treats of EMP and the potential for such an attack to destroy all electronics in a flash.  As a societal resilience issue, protecting all nations from the consequences of EMP is a rising concern for NATO.

OTS’s Senior Project Engineer, Chad Brenny, recently presented OTS at the International Defense and Security Technology Fair in Brno, Czech Republic to a jury composed of experts and authorities from the Czech Ministry of Defence, NATO Transformation Command, NATO Science and Technology Organization, Old Dominion University and the Czech Academy of Science. OTS was proud to present its structures and other relevant solutions, which are now being considered within NATO.

Omni-Threat Structures, specializes in hardened structures that provide protection from electromagnetic pulse (HEMP and IEMI), ballistic/blast, and event-driven missiles as well as natural threats, including Category 5 hurricanes, EF-5 tornados, and seismic events.
